No words can substitute the pain of losing a loved
one, only time

can ease the ache and emptiness that remains within the

heart. I am in no way political and I am empathising from

a Christian point of view when I extend my greatest sympathy

with you, the family of such a great Man of Peace in our

troubled times. I beg you to bear no bitterness towards

this despicable killer, because bitterness will only serve

to deprive you of what peace, comfort & humanity you have left

after such a tragic and senseless deed.

Take comform now, knowing that Loved One has, indeed, gone to

a far better place> His time on earth was valuable, unique

and precious in the eyes of His God, who deemed it necessary

to call him home for "Supper". Your husband, father, grandfather

is now abiding in the best care of all!!

God Bless you all

THIS UNTIMELY & TRAGIC DEATH HAS NOT BEEN IN VAIN.

With lots of Christian love,

Our deepest sympathy to the Rabin Family and to
Israel. Such a misguided act and such a loss for Israel and the world!

My (John's) connection to Israel is that I was privileged to visit
Israel in 1964 where I worked on a kibbutz--Kibbutz Dorot, near the
Gaza strip--for a total of 5 weeks. What wonderful people we met
there. It's an experience I'll never forget. We also took an extended
truck tour of Israel--all experiences I shall treasure forever!

Thank you for the opportunity to send this message.

Sincerely and respectfully, J & C M.

there is in fact no peace...until the imminent return of Jesus

Christ. Please read Isaiah chapters 53-56, and Psalm 22. He is

our blessed Messiah! He also said to the multitudes, "blessed

are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God."

I am saddened whenever a Prime Minister or President
dies in

office. I am even more saddened when a Prime Minister or

President is assasinated in office. Last week, I experienced

a new emotion when my mind was called on to react to a Prime

Minister being assassinated while in office, and speaking at

a PEACE rally. My poor brain is still trying to decide on an

official communique for my poor mouth to release. I am

speechless! One person - a brother, has caused you, and many

around the world, so much pain. My own mother died 5 weeks

ago, and it hurts. At home Mr Rabin was hubby, daddy, and

granddaddy, and I am sure his family wants him back at home

to be all of those, to them. They must now be hurting. Two

days after Mom died I woke up from a dream one morning. In

the dream, someone was singing two lines from Michael Jackson's

current hit song, "You are not alone. I am here with you."

When I woke up there was no radio playing in the background.

I would like to believe that it was Mom telling me she was

here with me, and in some ways I do. Mr. Rabin is there with

you.Take comfort.

I am an Argentinian student of Jewish Communal

When the bomb in AMIA exploted in 1994, and I was working with the
rescue teams, I remember to have felt completely depressed for our
faith.

That feeling accompanied my thougths for a long time, and it was very
difficult to persue a normal life after that.

I feel the same feeling now. I ask my self why can not we be a normal
people? Why do we have to suffer periodically a new hit to our life as
Jews?

Israel and the Jewish people has passed many times through terrible
facts: we always survived.

However, I have the sad feeling now, that something new is hapening. We
Jews, one against the other. Did we build a Jewish state for that?

Is this the price for becoming a "normal people"?

I wish, that this terrible mirror we are facing now will make us think
about what Jewish values we want to teach to our children.

I give my condolences to mishpajat Rabin, and my message to the Ham
Israel is: "Lo yihie lanu haretz yiehudit, bli neshamah Yiehudit.

Dear Mrs. Rabin and family,

I'am deeply sorry that Mr. Rabin was assinated. He was a great human
being and he helped alot of people. I'am Jewish myself and

and I'am shocked that a jew would kill a jew. Last night I was at my
temple and I prayed for the whole Rabin family. I hope that the man who
killed Mr.Rabin spends the rest of his sick life in prison.

On behalf of the Filipino people, I wish to
express my deepest sympathies to your family and the people of Israel.
We were all shocked, angered and saddened by the death of a world
leader and preacher of peace in the Middle East.

The Prime Minister's untimely demise, I hope, will hasten the peace
initiative for which he worked so hard. I know that the outcome will
depend on how your people will weather the first assassination of a war
hero and leader, but I wish the result will be for the better.

Yes, he is dead but his message of peace lives in the minds of the
peoples of the world. This I believe.

Thank you for giving us a Yitzhak Rabin.

As a person who knows quite a bit about the Jewish
faith

(my mother is Jewish), I wish to express my deepest sadness

over the assination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. I am

even more hurt by the fact that it was a fellow Jew who

committed the crime. The peace process in the Middle East

is important to fullfilling the world's desire to be a single,

unified global community. I am confident, however, that people

will get pass this, and the peace mission will be renewed.

If not for the future, then for the purpose of fullfilling

this man's ideal.

as a catholic young woman, i was shocked to hear of
the assasination of mr. rabin. my first worry was about the peace
process, i only hope it continues. it is very important to the rest of
the world that people don't remain angry for long. anger only breeds
fear, which in turn breeds war. and war, no matter what the cause
merely breeds death. I truly wish to extend my condolences to the
Rabins and to the entire country of Israel. I remember what it was like
to lose john f. kennedy here in the states. Ironicall, during that
time, the country was more united than ever. I can only hope that the
feeling of unity will help Israel and the peace process. after all it
is bad enough that a process for peace has to even exist, why can peace
just be peace.
