the monsterous assassination - please allow us to apply to

you and BEG you NOT to attack Mr.Bibi Netanyahu and any

other members of the right wing camp.



Mr.Netanyahu is guilty as hell, alright, but so are we ALL. NONE 

of us is clean - we all let our tobgues free against each

other, an unforgivable and regretable act among brothers.

Even my beloved old father, an ex-school principal, a 

teacher and educator, who was yelling "lets get rid of them"

whenever he saw Jewish settlers - is guilty as hell. 

Because every camp visciously attacked the other - we all

paved the way for this bloody murder. Keeping on attacking

our opposites will doom all of us to pave the road for the

next murder - god forbid, let it be right or left.



Let us unite and keep a respected silence, helping us to 

bridge over our differences of opinion, or in the wise

words of his majesty, King Hussein of Jordan "Cross the

Devide". Let us all encourage and enable our Security 

Services to lay their long hands on the criminals - but 

as for us, Jews of the moral, sane and silent majority of 

all political sides learn the lesson and the warning and

unite for a brighter future.

I would like to write here my condolence to the

of Yizhak Rabin.



I was very glad when, back in 1992, Yizahak Rabin was elected

the prime minister of Israel. Even back then, the spirit

of change was in the air and I felt that good times are coming

to this nation. Suddently we became a normal state, being an

Israeli was very much like being an english or french.

The economy had showd us that we must be doing, finally, 

meny things the RIGHT WAY and living in Israel became a

plesent reality for me. 

Izhak Rabbin, had made the grateset step ever towards peace

when he finally decided to sit and talk with our bitter 

enemies of yesterday and making them into our partners of 

tomorrow. In doing that he had cut the endless circle of

war and in the first time gave us a real hope that in a short

time there will not be a need to fight for our existance and

that it's the time to fight for our prosparity, and that

it is finally the time to make Israel the gratest place for 

us to live in.

I guess that our becoming a normal nation has made it clear 

to us that political issues are not solved in the streets 

but in the poll, that you don't have to shout in order to

be listened and that the best way for you to say what you 

think is on election day. I guess that's why there were not

meny people publicly supporting his policy. 

It seems that I was wrong, and not all the people here think

like I am, but I'm optimistic - I know that we are all

going to change and I'm very sad that this change is going to 

be the result of such a tragic event.

I'm going to remember this grate leader for meny years to

come and I will always remember him the way he looked like 

on Saturday, when he sang his last song.

to the core.  I have lived in Israel for almost 20 years, after
emigrating during the October 73 war.  I came to Israel full of ideals
and a a desire to help nuild a country based on freedom, truth,
understanding and peace.  Over the years these ideals have been slowly
corroded by the realities of Israeli society.  The brutal and
unforgivable murber of Mr. Rabin was the straw that broke the camels
back and I felt as if life here in Israel had no real meaning anymore -
in short, I GAVE UP.



And then the young people started appearing, in the square, 1,000,000
passing in sorrow before the coffin, hundreds congregating before the
Rabins home and the loud heartbreaking  cry of grief being torn from
the hearts and souls of the nation.  Those young people have given me
hope that the future is not black, that there is a future for this land
and our people.  The grief remains, as do the shock, the horror and the
disgust.  We all of us, share the blame for not crying out against the
advocates of violence and extremism - the children are our hope, are
Rabins legacy, a rock on which we who have failed can look upon with
hope and pride.



Let the cry go out from Israel to the world - ENOUGH!  To many people
have died for no reason other than hatred - Yitzhak Rabin was one more,
let him be the last!

 A tragic incident has befallen us all on the night 

of November 4th, 1995.  Israel's Prime Minister and 

Minister of Defense Mr. Yizhak Rabin was assassinated 

during a Peace and Anti-Violence Rally in Tel-Aviv.

 Unfortunately this was not an isolated and alien 

event to our planet.  This planet suffers both racist 

and idealistic hate-related violence daily around the 

globe.  Let us divert our feelings and hopes to positive 

means of achieving the future  as each of us envisions 

it, while respecting the views of our peers, however 

contrary they may be to our own.

 The lists of names added to this expression of hope 

for a tolerant future will be annexed and sent to 

leaders around the world.

 It is important not only that we sign this petition, 

but that we all reflect upon this matter, and let these 

ideas prevail in our conscious every-day lives.  We must 

remember that intolerant, violent or accusational

remarks of other right and left wing extreamist, people who first talk
and only after talking they stop to think (some of them never even stop
to think), can very easily find a listening ear that will translate
those things to action. 

right and left extreamist put our unity in danger and serve only there
own needs and goals.

we're one people - religous people and unreligous ones - and we should
first find a way of peace between oueselves before we try and make
peace with our enemies.

if we want change our ways, and the sooner the better, we'll all have
to turn to god because god will be the only one who'll be able to help

For me the best way of remembering the late Yitzhak Rabin 

is by trying to realise his achievements in both life and in death.



In life he was a great army general who defeated our hostile 

arab neighbours and in death he was the man who could assemble some 

of those hostile neighbours in the Holy city - Yerushaliyim.

He had the courage to wage war and the courage to fight for peace.



For me the most important words that he said were on the 

white house lawn three years ago, in the presence of Yasser Arafat

and President Clinton,



"enough of blood and tears....enough !"



May those words now be heeded and if this tragic event can 

bring good, let it be that the Jewish people inside and outside

Eretz Yisrael will again be unified.
