On behalf of my family and my fellow congregants at
Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA, please accept
our sympathies on your loss, and our loss, of Prime Minister Rabin. As
we sang yesterday with Debbie Friedman,
"hurt another and the world's destroyed, but save a life and you will
save the world." Prime Minister Rabin understood and acted upon these
words. We should all follow his lead.

My sincerest condolences to Mr. Rabin's family. I
was especially touched by his Grand-Daughter's words as I watched on
the television. To her the politcal role that her Grand-father played
was not as important as the role that he played
as a friend and loving grand-father. My Great-Uncle was Col. David
"Mickey" Marcus. I was unable to meet him as he was killed fighting for
peace in 1948. I understand that Mr. Rabin knew him quite well. Both
were great men, fighting for a lasting peace.
Be assured that his untimely death will not hinder what is bound to
happen. G-d Bless you all. 11/6/95 Joseph Kalman Marcus, USA

Peace is costlier than hostility not only in Israel
but all over

the world. It is easy to destroy things that are very

difficult to build. Prime Minister Rabin traded his life with

hope that other Israelis will live in harmoney and peace. I hope

Israeli people will honor that hope and start living in peace

with neighbors. As a first step please educate those fanatic

right-wingers about the virtue of peace.

A dark clould hangs over the world. A great man has
been killed. A man who wanted peace on earth for all men. I only hope
and pray that Rabin's death will bring us closer together, closer to
peace. His killer thought that by killing
him he would end the peace process. I don't think this will happen. I
think that the world will unite, and that peace will come about.
Sometimes good things come out of bad things. Let us pray this is so.

My family and I would like to extend to the Rabin

the entire incident. I
fathom how the assassin can justify this act by saying he acted on
GOD's orders when GOD's
commandment says "Thou shalt not kill". I had intended to write to
Prime Minister Rabin to
let him know that I supported his plan for peace and his stance on

I will no longer be able to do so.

I will be praying for the Rabin family and for the state of Israel that

To the Rabin family and all Israelites everywhere:

Allow me to express my deepest sorrow and condolences

for the untimely assination of the Prime Minister.

Let us hope that he has found a lasting eternal peace

and that his alledged killer be brought to a swift

and merciful justice. Unfortunately, Mr. Rabin's

death may have been the spur the world needed to

bring peace to the Middle East, and for his

willingness to provide us that spur--in life and in

	death--let us be eternally grateful.

No words can express our feelings today. Yitzhak
Rabin
not only part of our state, but part of our lives. We
watched the walls come down between East and West Jerusalem
in 1967 and wept. He was a part of that. We listened to
the peace talks - the rhetoric and the commendations - and
he was a part of that. It is impossible to believe that
this has happened. But he will always be part of our lives.

I heared today Noa's speech and I was moved. I would like

to express my deep sympaty with your family. Mr. Yitzhak

Rabin is first of all a person, one who have a family one

whom he loved and ones who love and miss him very much.

I was shocked by the horrify act of that fanatic criminal

guy from Herzelia. It is so tragic that Yitzhak Rabin was

so right when he choosed to emphasize the "No Violance" in

the last assemble in Kicar-Atarim.

No matter ower opinion differences we should not allow such

insane people walk around us. May be the way to heal our

society is by our leadership, maybe it is education.

My personally contribution to this effort will be to vote

for the peace process leaded by Yithak Rabin and Shimon

Peres inspite my personal controversy with this way. Maybe

so we can discourage such loony guys, by showing them that

they all loos.

First, to Mrs. Rabin, my condolences of the loss
of your husband

and partner in life. Though I knew him only through what I saw in the

media, a man searching for peace in his country does so because he
loves

his family so much that he wants them to grow up in a land of peace.

Your husband was a true soldier and a true man, someone who was willing

to put down his gun and give his hand instead. Though I will never be

like your husband, I hope in my own small way in my corner of the
world,

I can bring a little peace. That will be my tribute to him and his
legacy

to me. May God take care of you and your family and my God honor and

bless your husband.

I extend my heart-felt condolences to the family of
Yitzchak Rabin (z"l), to the people of Israel, to the Jewish community,
and to the world community.

In his death, Rabin's greatness is finally acknowledged in a public
way.

Israel's legitimacy is undisputed by rational people. Israelis and
Jews do more to undermine our own values than any outside enemy could
do.

May the values of peace and honor, characterized by Mr. Rabin, be the
guide of the Jewish people. May we have the strength to see the
righteous path, even when it is different from what we have had before.
This is the vision of Mr. Rabin; he was a gre
at man because he could see options that were anathema to him at a
previous time in history.

Again, my condolences to all who have lost a great and righteous
man.

It is difficult to understand how one could end the life of such

All of us have to take a time-out and think how the people

Leah, you are correct, and we are so wrong.

We should have been there. Us the religious people who

don't agree with Yitzhak's way, or with the blunt way he

put things, but don't agree with the terrible personal attacks.

I didn't even put the Rabin Hakeh Shniya up. But it turns out

that I stood on the blood. "Lo taamod al dam reecha".

My 4 year old daughter always said when the radio would

say his name: "Mattai Yitzhak yitzhak?" and would laugh.

I'll always remember him as the man of laughter, starting

our day on the radio.

Hoy!

Lo tirtsach, how simple.

Please forgive me.

Prime Minister Rabin was an inspiration not only to
Jews around the world but to people around the world. He has taught the
lesson that politics isn't money or opinion polls, rather a feeling
that stems from the heart, a deep conviction
. This deserves nothing less than the highest respect. I am proud that
he has lead our people nad his words and ideas will continue to flow
from all of us. If we read from the Aleinu we are commanded to not be
like other nations, to stand as a proud peopl

When I heard about the news, like the other people
were, I could not believe what had happened.

For he was such great Israeli, greatest man of the world, I questioned
myself who could lead the peace to the

Middle East?

I still remember that Mr. Rabin shook the hand of Mr. Arafat. As I
studied the history of the Israel, I felt I saw miracle.

In Japan, all the morning paper reported this tragedy on the front
page. And those who had priviledge to talk to Mr.Rabin said

how great and honest man he was. And that made me more sad.

I feel ashamed of our Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama did not attend
